He is making his sixth start this season and has posted a 0-3 record with an 8.37 ERA, a 1.901 WHIP, with 16 walks and 14 strikeouts in 23.2 innings. The Cubs are missing several key pieces but keep finding ways to win. Yesterday they threw Alonso out at the plate in the bottom of the ninth to win 1-0. This game features two better quality pitchers in this game and it should stay under the total as runs might be at a premium in this game. This series seems to be staying to the Under in combined totals and this game should follow suit. The Rangers are still struggling on offense and they won’t get much off of Parker and the Nationals bullpen has been solid so far. Eovaldi has looked good so far, striking out batters at a high ratio and not giving much with an ERA of 3.00, so Washington might struggle to get runs. The Nationals have played their last four of six road games against Texas to the Under. Texas has played their last nine of twelve games against Washington to the Under.
